Interaction with Home's residents
Befriend, feed, help with errands and directly take care of our
residents in ways such as, accompanying residents for their
appointments or outings.

Organising indoor and outdoor activities
Help to organise activities for residents. This would be suitable
for volunteers who prefer to volunteer on a project rather than
regular day-to-day basis. e.g. organise indoor activities for
residents on an adhoc basis

Professional advice / services
Provide professional consultation and services to our residents.
We are in constant need of professional volunteers with the
following skills and expertise:-
- doctor
- IT professional
- lawyer
- nurse
- physiotherapist
- religious counselor

Maintenance work
Assist in general maintenance of the Home. Help in the following
areas would be most welcome:-
- electrical work
- carpentry
- gardening

Assist in
Residents’ Exercise Sessions
e.g. assisting residents during their daily exercise sessions
and interact with residents suffering from dementia especially in
the morning sessions.

Orientation and Training
Conduct basic orientation and training sessions for volunteers
and/or staff. (Relevant information and training will be
provided.)

Journalism
e.g. writing articles pertaining to activities and programmes of
the Home for quarterly HospiceLink publications or website.

Fund-raising
Assist to organise functions or events to raise funds for the Home
for implementation of new projects and programmes initiatives.

General administration
Provide support in administration areas such as manning of
hotline, purchase of medicine, collection of donated food stuff
etc.

Community Involvement Programmes
Assist to conduct tours for school students and corporate
visitors.

IT Support
Help with website design and/or maintenance and other projects.

Photography
Assist with photo-taking during activities and help
manage photo library.
