Catholic Welfare Services in 1978 to provide shelter, care and love for
the aged and the destitute, regardless of race, colour or religion.
-
Its day-to-day operations
are run by Canossian sisters, who are imbued with the spirit of
Foundress, St Magdalene of Canossa, "to love the sick as living images
of Christ".

The Hospice was started in
1985 to cater to the needs of the terminally ill.
-
We moved to our current
premises in 1993, with bigger and better facilities for our residents.
-
The new extension block with
additional facilities was completed in September 2002.
3. Mission and Objectives
We provide the aged
residents and patients with advanced illnesses a peace-filled
environment which values human dignity and enhances the quality of
life.
We assist and accompany the residents, giving them love, courage and
hope as they prepare to meet God with faith and trust.
We achieve these through compassion, care and prayer.
4. Services/ Programmes
St Joseph’s Home & Hospice
(SJH) believes in providing holistic care to residents and their

A team of staff, consisting of sisters, voluntary doctors, nurses, a
social worker, a physiotherapist, a traditional Chinese medicine
